Dr. Pitts received his Bachelor of Science from Emory University College of Arts and Sciences and his MD and specialty training from Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Pitts is board certified in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He enjoys gardening and working his mules and bird dogs on his farm near Lexington. He is excited to practice close to his extended family in Oglethorpe, Clarke, Elbert, and Wilkes counties.
He and his wife, Patti, have been married for over 45 years and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
Kristin received her Bachelor of Science from Clemson University, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Georgia State University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama Birmingham. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to working as a registered nurse at Oglethorpe ENT, she worked as an emergency department registered nurse at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Kristin is certified to treat patients of all ages
Kristin is married to Dr. Pitts’ son Matt, the practice administrator at Oglethorpe ENT. They have two sons, Emory and Mac. When she isn’t working, Kristin enjoys running and spending time with her family.
